This was posted on Free Republic today - these are the people who should be on Obama's economic team:
Wal-Mart vs. The Morons
1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart Every hour of every day.
2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!
3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January 1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.
4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target +Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.
5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people, is the world's largest private employer, and most speak English.
6 Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the world.
7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger and Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only fifteen years.
8. During this same period, 31 big supermarket chains sought bankruptcy.
9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.
10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had five years ago.
11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur at Wal-Mart stores. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)
12. 90% of all Americans live within fifteen miles of a Wal-Mart.
You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy.
This should be read and understood by all Americans Democrats, Republicans, EVERYONE!!
To President Obama and ALL 535 voting members of the Legislature,
It is now official you are all corrupt morons:
a.. The U.S. Postal Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.
b.. Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke. c.. Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.
d.. War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to "the poor" and they only want more.
e.. Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.
f.. Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.
g.. The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.
You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars.
AND YOU WANT AMERICANS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM ??
MAYBE WE OUGHT TO KICK YOUR EGG-HEAD BUDDY BUMS OUT OF OFFICE AND HIRE WAL-MART TO RUN THE GOVERNMENT ???
WAL-MART SEEMS TO KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS.......WHY DON'T YOU GUYS JUST ADMIT IT'S WAY BEYOND YOUR PAY GRADE, AND QUIT?

Making Illegal, Legal
The first thing that comes to mind of course, is immigration. But liberals have been at this a long time.
Remember when elective abortion was a backroom operation?
When I was a teen, any girls who were silly enough to get pregnant (and this was before the pill) usually went to help out a distant 'aunt' and came home a few months later without that little bulge. Some girls went to stay in homes run by the church, and gave their babies up for adoption. Some girls faced their families with the news, and the babies were accepted and grandparents helped raise the child. Abortions were few and far between, but there were always some who chose the very expensive alternative either because they didn't want their lives disrupted, or their families to find out. Every so often a case would make the papers because the woman died due to the ineptness of the doctor (or hack) performing this procedure.
The cure for this? Why, lets make abortion legal. Since so many women were dying to have abortions, lets make it safe and an everyday affair, no different than having a mole removed, and just as safe. Even better, lets get it covered under our insurance - forget the fact that it's an elective procedure, as very few women wake up pregnant. Just make it a right, and you've just gotten the feminazi vote.
Now we have immigration problems. Rather than use common sense and refuse benefits to illegal persons, the liberal solution is to just let everybody be a citizen. It doesn't matter if you broke the law, or if you could have entered legally after filling out your paperwork and getting in line to immigrate. The rules don't apply when dems are looking at millions of new voters. Of course, the cost to take care of all these people who have not paid into the system will be a little expensive. The days when an immigrant had to have a job, or at least a sponsor who would be responsible for their upkeep, are gone. After all, citizenship is a right for anyone who can break into this country. Now you've gotten the illegal immigrant vote.
Wikipedia: enabling: used in the context of problematic behavior, to signify dysfunctional approaches that are intended to help but in fact may perpetuate a problem. A common theme of enabling in this latter sense is that third parties take responsibility, blame, or make accommodations for a person's harmful conduct. The practical effect is that the person themselves does not have to do so, and is shielded from awareness of the harm it may do, and the need or pressure to change.
Liberals love to take responsibility for all people with destructive or illegal behaviors. Of course, it's the rest of us who get to pay the bill.

Uncle Sam I Am....
Saw this posted on GlennBeckClips.com - source is undetermined.
I do not like it Uncle Sam,
I do not like it Sam I am.
I do not like these dirty crooks,
neither how they cook the books.
I do not like when Congress steals,
I do not like their secret deals.
I do not like this Speaker Nan,
I do not like this "YES WE CAN!"
I do not like this kind of hope,
I do not like it, nope nope, NOPE!

Obama's True Colors

“You are about to be ruled by the black man, cracker”.
Obama’s Attorney General dropped the case against the New black Panthers who intimidated white people at a polling place in Philly. In 2007, Obama himself introduced a bill increasing the penalty for behavior of this type to five years in prison. The Justice Department has not explained why this case was dropped, but the message it sends is clear: only black people have rights in this administration.
The more he surrounds himself with radicals, communists and environmentalists convinced they have to destroy our way of life, the more he shows his true self…and it’s an ugly one. Black Power, Green Power…either way, the outcome is the same – take from the producers to give to the takers. Instead of elevating people of color, his definition of reparations is to drag everyone else down.
Why we love Glenn Beck
This post written in July, 2009.
I recently read a fair article about Glenn Beck on Pajamas Media by Bernard Chapin. Since I'm still reading 'The 5,000 Year Leap' before I start his 'Common Sense' book, I'm glad PM gave it a decent review. I had to laugh though, about his feelings toward Mr. Beck.
We get uncomfortable watching Glenn....he's so honest it hurts. He says the very things we would and do say, like when your kid comes home with 'my teacher said...." and your first thought is wtf??????
He has disarmed his detractors by openly talking about past problems with alcohol, so they have nothing 'on' him. He wears his heart on his sleeve. He speaks to the people in the 'flyover' states - the people Letterman mocked - the sample lady in the grocery store, the cheerleader, or the waitress who signs your check with a smileyface - our aunts, cousins, and possibly, us. His audience embraces all people who work and struggle to do the right thing - the community college graduate (or dropout) who somehow manages to scrape enough together for a house, clothes for the kids, good meals on the table. He talks for the kind of guy who decides to sleep in on Sunday cause he worked a six-day week, but would rather cut his own heart out before he agreed that piercing an unborn baby's skull and sucking it's brain out seconds before it is born is just a matter of 'choice'.
He makes us squirm because he reacts. It's not that there's something wrong with Glenn....it's that there's so much wrong with the rest of us.
